Brenda began her professional career in 1976 as a Financial Controller in Dallas, Texas. Ten years later she moved to Shreveport, LA where she hired a custom homebuilder to build her dream home on a nearby lake. The builder recognized Brenda’s talent and passion for homebuilding and hired her as a project manager for his building company.

In 1993, Brenda and her family relocated to Cary, North Carolina where she worked with Preston Development Group. In 1994, she was recruited by a regional builder for the position of Sales Coordinator. She was promoted to Design Center Manager in 1997. A year later Brenda was named Business Unit Leader for the Southern Operations Division, while continuing to oversee the Design Center.

In 1999, a local custom builder recruited Brenda for the position of Vice-President of Operations. She was promoted to President in August of 2000. In November 2001, Brenda founded her own homebuilding company – SilverCrest Builders. Over the past 9 years, SilverCrest Builders has earned the trust and respect of the Triangle’s leading developers and realtors.

Brenda holds a General Contractors license, a NC Real Estate Broker’s license and is a member of the Raleigh/Wake Home Builders Association and serves on the Board of Directors.
